Day Shift handled the following notable calls:
Deputies responded to a suspicious female in a yard in Hayden. When deputies arrived on scene, they contacted the female who said she was the sister of the homeowner. It was apparent the female was under the influence to illegal drugs. When questioned about this she handed over the meth she had on her person. The female was arrested for possession of illegal drugs.
A deputy observed a vehicle driving backwards on Highway 95 near Garwood. When the deputy was finally able to get the vehicle stopped, he contacted the driver. The driver advised he was almost out of gas and was trying to get back to the Alpine Store so he could get fuel. As he was talking to the driver, the deputy observed paraphernalia in plain view. A search of the vehicle yielded meth, marijuana and more drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested.
Deputies responded to a residence for a suicide threat. The subject had left the residence prior to law arrival but returned. The male had a piece of glass in his hand, but he followed commands and dropped the glass and was detained. He was taken into protective custody.
Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute. Based on statements from both parties, the argument was verbal only. During the investigation, paraphernalia was located on both parties. In addition, the male had pepper spray and brass knuckles, which is in violation of his probation. As a result, he was arrested for a probation violation.
One deputy handled four separate non-injury accidents throughout the county.
Night Shift handled the following notable calls:
While conducting a security check at the Bunco Trailhead, a deputy located a suspicious vehicle. He contacted the occupant and learned he had an active warrant. The male occupant was arrested.
A deputy stopped a vehicle on Hwy 95 near Kidd Island. While talking to the occupants, the deputy could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The occupants provided the deputy with marijuana and rolling papers. The driver was issued a citation for the drugs.
