White, a 6-foot-4, 210 pound senior forward, earned his second Golden State Athletic Conference Player of the Week award after notching 22 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for the NAIA Lions of Costa Mesa, Calif. White scored 28 points in a 85-67 win over OUAZ, hitting four 3-pointers and finishing with four rebounds. In that game, White surpassed the 1,000-point mark, taking his career total to 1,023. White also had 16 points, five rebounds and two assists in a Feb. 2 loss at Arizona Christian. Vanguard is 12-10 this season.
