A man allegedly tried to reconnect with an ex on Valentine’s Day after they recently broke up by going to her house, hitting her door, yelling at her and refusing to leave when told to do so.

Someone called the Columbia Falls Police Department on Valentine’s Day to report receiving harassing Facebook messages from their son’s ex-girlfriend that reportedly stated her mother was going to come and beat them up.

A man in a lifted white truck, who appeared to be on drugs, reportedly “door checked” two vehicles in a parking lot intentionally. One of those vehicle owners allegedly punched the truck driver in the face, pulled a knife and possibly punctured one of their tires, according to an employee who relayed the second-hand information to police. By then, everyone left the scene.

The Kalispell Police Department received a report of an 18-wheeler reportedly hitting a stop sign and nearly taking out a resident’s fence as well without attempting to “swing wide.”

A front door was left open at a business.

A woman allegedly dropped a cat in a crate strapped to a walker and left it on the side of the road.

A passerby requested a welfare check for a very intoxicated man lying on the ground in the snow because of his vacant stare when they tried to talk to him. He declined law enforcement and medical assistance.
