Whitefish Community Foundation will host a workshop on Feb. 16 for nonprofit organizations interested in building relationships with individual and corporate donors that keep them giving. The workshop is part of the foundation’s Nonprofit Development Partnership (NpDP) program and is offered free of charge to participants.

Chany Ockert will present “Creating a Stewardship Culture” on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish. Although there is no fee to attend the workshop, advance registration is required at whitefishcommunityfoundation.org/nonprofit-trainings.

“Creating a Stewardship Culture” will be an interactive workshop designed to help attendees establish a stewardship culture within the organizations they serve. Joining Ockert will be local donors who will share their unique perspectives and experiences on the topic.

Ockert is a certified fundraising executive with more than 15 years of experience specializing in adapting fundraising best practices and lessons for nonprofit organizations. Based in the Flathead Valley, she works with nonprofits across the country.

The Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation is a sponsor of NpDP, partnering with Whitefish Community Foundation to bring quality nonprofit training to local nonprofits free of charge.
