TACOMA – Thirty-four Basin athletes placed at the 2023 Mat Classic at the Tacoma Dome over the weekend, including Moses Lake’s Ashley Naranjo, Royal’s Alondra Morales and Othello’s Terrill Freeman taking home state titles. Wildcats athletics reveals 2026 Hall of Fame inductees
ELLENSBURG — On Monday, Central Washington athletics announced in a statement the names for the 2026 athletic Hall of Fame class. Jean and Joe Adams (Spirit of Central), Catie Fry (Volleyball), Zak Hill (Football), and Dr. Richard Roux (Meritorious Service).
Van Dyke signs contract extension through 2030
SEATTLE — Having led the Huskies to one of the most successful seasons in program history, Washington women's soccer Head Coach Nicole Van Dyke has signed a contract extension through the 2030 season, according to a statement by UW Athletics.

Eastern defeated South Dakota 67-63 on Saturday afternoon to go 2-0 in the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. The Eagles improve to 5-4 on the season, while USD falls to 8-2.
