Gracie L. Tunnell Sherman, 94

Gracie L. Tunnell Sherman, age 94, left her “Happy Home” as she called it, at Honeysuckle Senior Living in Hayden Lake on Feb. 15, 2023. She is survived by her three children, Mike, Nancy and Debbie and several grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, who passed away at the age of 93 in 2021, and her son, Jim.

Gracie came to Idaho when she was 7 years old after her family moved from Henryetta, Okla., in 1936. Gracie’s grandfather had one of the first shoe repair shops in Cd’A located on Sherman Avenue. Her beloved dog, Eddie, was a constant companion for her and will be well taken care of.
