SOAP LAKE - The City of Soap Lake will be holding a public meeting on Friday to consider an application for a condominium development.

The release by the city stated that the planning agency for the city is considering an application for a Planned Development, called Purple Sage Meadows, which would result in 236 manufactured home condominiums.

The land use application stated there will be a 6-foot-tall fence around the entire perimeter of the development with amenities such as a 3,000-square-foot clubhouse, pool and gazebos.

The property where the development is to take place is 38.92 acres and located on Division St. S, on the West side of the street between 8th Ave SE and State Route 28.

The hearing will be held March 3 at 5 p.m. at the Soap Lake Community and Senior Center, 121 2nd Ave SE.
