Charlo was not a good host to the Noxon Red Devils basketball teams this past Thursday, beating the boys 68-24 and downing the girls 65-34 in Charlo.

The Vikings boys ran over Noxon 24-4 in the first quarter, on their way to a relatively easy conference win. The Vikings upped their lead to 40-12 at halftime on their way to their second Western 14C win of the 2022-23 season.

Keaton Piedalue led all scorers with 18 for the Vikings.

The Lady Red Devils also had a rough visit to Charlo, falling behind 18-11 in a hard-fought first quarter, then watching as the Lady Vikings sailed to a 33-18 lead.

Charlo built an insurmountable lead by outscoring Noxon 20-8 in the third quarter, giving them a 53-26 lead heading into the final quarter.

Both Noxon teams will be looking to get back on the winning track this week as they host Two Eagle River Thursday night, then travel to Alberton for a pair of games with the Panthers and Lady Panthers Saturday evening.
