COEUR TERRE: Look for other connecting roads

Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 2 years AGO

We are the Kiefer family and have had the extreme pleasure of living in Indian Meadows for 21 1/2 years. We love the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and enjoy walking our dog daily. We feel safe and picked this area because of the low amount of traffic.

We are not down on expansion, but do not want the overwhelmingly expansive Coeur Terre development to affect our neighborhood. None of the proposed streets of Woodside, Appaloosa, Arrowhead and Nez Perce should be used as connector roads. None of these roads go through past Atlas anyways.

I feel that a more viable connecting road would be the Industrial Loop. Unfortunately, this route would lead to Atlas Road, which is overused as it is. Maybe roads leading to Huetter Road would be a more viable solution.

Thank you for considering our thoughts.
