PLUMMER — When the Knights are able to set the pace, they’re pretty solid anywhere.
But on Ron Miller Court, they’re really solid.
Vander Brown scored 24 points, Liam Hendrickx had 19 for Lakeside in an 81-36 win over Genesis Prep in the Scenic Idaho Conference opener for both schools on Wednesday.

Hendrickx scored 14 of his 19 in the first half.
“He was hitting from outside pretty much all night,” Twoteeth said.

COEUR d’ALENE — The Coeur d’Alene coaches said it.
The Viking wrestlers listened on Wednesday night.
Coeur d’Alene picked up decision wins by Tanner George (113 pounds) and Dax Larsen (145), as well as pins in seven other weights to beat the Bulldogs at Viking Court.
“We’re such a young team that we need wins like this to get some confidence,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jeff Moffat said. “We’ve been harping on them to take what they’re doing in the wrestling room in practice to competition. They’re showing improvement and being aggressive.”
Coeur d’Alene competes in the Rocky Mountain Classic on Friday and Saturday at Sentinel High in Missoula.
Sandpoint travels to Post Falls tonight, then competes in the River City Duals on Friday and Saturday in Post Falls.
