Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 2 years, 11 months AGO
The North Idaho College Theatre department is holding auditions for its production of “I Hate Hamlet,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, and Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center on NIC’s main campus in Coeur d’Alene.
Auditions are open to students, staff, faculty and the community. Auditions will consist of one monologue and select readings will be made available for use. Participants only need to come to one night of auditions and are asked to bring a headshot and a resume.
“I Hate Hamlet” is a comedy-drama where an up-and-coming television actor has his life turned upside down after a visit from a ghost. The laughs are nonstop as the young star wrestles with his career, personal life and his lack of desire to take the role of Hamlet in New York City.
Production dates are scheduled for April 13-15 and April 20-22.
