On Dec. 24, 2022, Glenndon Dale Iszler of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife of 47 years, Pat, by his side.

After a stint in the Navy, serving aboard the Yorktown, he got his philosophy degree at Central. He was an accomplished general contractor but will always be remembered as a beloved foster dad for 55 infants and babies! His interests including fishing with his lifelong best friend, Mike. In his spare time, he designed the “Yorktown Disciple” website and is the sole author of all 12,000 poems on it. He will be missed.

An informal celebration of life is scheduled for June 28, 2023, at Farragut State Park, with the time to be announced later.

He is survived by his wife and their five children: Melanie, Tara, Buddy, Cynthia and Coby. Also leaving behind five grandchildren: Millissa, Megan, Alexis, Halena and Avyana; four great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
