BBCC Foundation to hold financial planning event

MOSES LAKE — The Big Bend Community College Foundation will host a free financial and estate planning event, according to a statement from the foundation.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Jan. 31 at the Big Bend Community College ATEC Building and will feature local financial planning professionals Jeremy Iverson, financial adviser at Edward Jones, retired accountant Rick Honsowetz and David Webster, an attorney with Lukins & Annis. Topics to be covered will include:

  • Investment strategies
  • Income tax tips
  • Wills and trusts
  • Power of attorney
  • Medical directives
  • Beneficiary designations
