POST FALLS — Seth Caven scored 14 points for Clark Fork in a tough nonleague loss to Genesis Prep. Genesis Prep senior Joey Specht hit six 3-pointers for the Jaguars, finishing with 21 points in the nonleague win over the Wampus Cats at The Courts.
“I thought we played pretty good team defense other than fouling too much in the second quarter,” Genesis Prep coach Lon Morast said. “I’m proud of our effort. We put a really good first 12 minutes together, then started fouling and turning the ball over. Clark Fork’s a scrappy team and plays hard.”
Senior Donovan Daniels scored 10 points for Genesis Prep (6-8), which faces Coeur d’Christ today at The Courts at 5 p.m.
Clark Fork (9-6) travels to the Sandpoint JV today.
