Sabin contract extended by Moses Lake School Board

MOSES LAKE — The contract of Moses Lake School District superintendent Monty Sabin has been extended for an additional year. Moses Lake School Board members approved the extension on a unanimous vote after a special meeting to evaluate Sabin’s job performance Thursday.
The extension was approved without discussion. With the extension, Sabin’s contract will run through August 2026.
Sabin was hired in April 2022, replacing former superintendent Josh Meek, who left the district in 2021. Prior to being hired in Moses Lake Sabin was the assistant superintendent for the North Thurston School District.
