Troy Lady Trojans struggle out of gate, lose to Plains

The Troy Lady Trojans struggled out of the gate and lost to Plains, 47-30, Saturday afternoon at the Troy Activity Center.
The Trotters led 12-3 before closing the gap to four points at the end of the first quarter.
But Plains held the Lady Trojans to just one point in the second quarter and took a 24-9 lead to halftime. The Trotters led 34-18 after three quarters.
Elaine Folkerts led Troy with 11 points and Autumn Fisher added seven points. Izzy Tunison and Halle Wallace each scored three.
Friday, the Trojans fell to Thompson Falls, 68-10.
Troy was scheduled to play at Loyola Tuesday. The Trojans are set to host Eureka on Thursday.
