The Lake County Fair, which continues through Saturday at the fairgrounds in Ronan, kicked off July 22 with the 4-H Horse Show. 4-Hers brought their horses, all brushed and glossy for halter classes, mini horse jumping and riding events.

Next up was the shotgun competition at Big Sky Sporting Clays on Sunday, July 23. 4-H members competed in Five Stand, trap, and sporting clays.

Monday saw 4-H and FFA members meeting with an adult judge for each of their projects to discuss their goals, achievements, and the nuts and bolts of each project.

Each day during the fair offers art, crafts, sewing projects, photography, foods, and Clover Buds exhibits to view all day. The sheep, goat, swine, beef, and dairy barns are open for visitors. The Kid Zone is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and concessions are available daily. All projects are released from 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
