SPOKANE – Bulldog senior forward Anton Watson is returning to Spokane for a final season in the 2023-24 campaign, according to a release from Gonzaga Athletics on Wednesday.

Watson earned an honorable mention on the All-West Coast Conference list in the 2022-23 season, finishing second in the WCC with a 60.8 shooting percentage from the field and starting all 37 games last season. The senior averaged 11.1 points per game last season.

His 66 steals last season – which were the second-most in the WCC and the fourth-most in a season in program history – has moved Watson to seventh on the Bulldogs’ career most steals list (162).
