Robert Eugene Hoffman Jr. of Post Falls, Idaho, passed unexpectedly May 31, 2023, in Palm Springs, Calif.
He was born in Dallas, Texas, to Robert Sr. and Ida (Moody) Hoffman on April 28, 1947.
He was a 1965 Graduate of WW Samuell High School in Dallas and earned both his bachelor's and master’s degrees from the University of North Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Bennett Hoffman, in 2001.
He is survived by his spouse, Christopher Neal Wigley, brother Ronald, sisters Vicki (Ward) and Melinda (Combs) several nieces and nephews from the Hoffman, Wigley and Nunez families. In addition, his and Christopher’s two rescue canines, Minnie Louise and Mary Grace.
A celebration of life event will be held at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, at a later date.
