Grandma Terry Edelblute

Terry Mae Birdsey Edelblute passed away, peacefully, Friday, May 26, 2023, at 1:21 a.m. at North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls, Idaho, from pneumonia. The staff of this facility took amazing care of her and the family.

Terry was born Sept. 16, 1947, to Claude and Alice Birdsey in Bellingham, Wash. She married Earl Arthur Edelblute on Dec. 21, 1968, in Flathead Mont., and eventually settled in Rathdrum, Idaho.

Known for her hugs, Terry had the sweetest, kindest soul you would ever meet. The best way to describe her was as a whirlwind! She was always on the go (mostly to the area casinos!). She never met a stranger and was the biggest baby magnet, having the biggest grins for all of the little ones.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Earl Arthur Edelblute, sons Melvin Coy and Kenneth William and grandson Joshua Dean.

She is survived by three stepchildren, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends who will greatly miss her quick wit and mischievous laugh (what are you up to Grandma?)
