Kolden, a graduate student from Lake City High, hit two home runs and scored three runs for the Patriots in an 18-4 win over No. 12 Oklahoma State in NCAA Tournament game in the Stillwater Regional on Saturday. Kolden had an RBI and run scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over Washington and scored a run in the team's 6-5 loss to Oral Roberts in the regional championship game. Dallas Baptist finished 47-16. Kolden led the team in hitting with a .353 average (82 for 232) with 10 doubles, six home runs and 35 runs batted in. He was also 21 of 23 on stolen base attempts.

Kyle Manzardo

Durham Bulls baseball

Manzardo, a first baseman from Lake City High and Washington State, matched a career-high with four hits, including two doubles in the Triple-A Bulls' 13-2 win over the visiting Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on May 29. Manzardo has appeared in 51 games for Durham, a farm club of the Tampa Bay Rays, this season, with eight home runs and 28 runs batted in. Manzardo was batting .261 following Tuesday's game at Memphis.
