James William Lynn, 79

On Jan. 3, 2023, our beloved patriarch, James William Lynn (Jim, Jimmy), passed peacefully surrounded by family and several lifelong friends.

He was the son of Eva and William Lynn, born Aug. 10, 1943. He was the brother of Eugenia and John Lynn. He was the husband of Maureen Lynn and the father of Brandon Lynn, born Aug. 15, 1970, and Aaron Lynn, born July 16, 1971. He later met and married the love of his life, Sheelagh Lynn, and moved to his beloved home in Spirit Lake in 1977.

Jim was well known for his passions, especially his love of the great outdoors, be it hunting, golfing, traveling or just enjoying his home in Spirit Lake. He loved to cook, preserve his home-grown produce and bake bread. He especially enjoyed his seven grandchildren and attending their many athletic games. Jim was a loving and caring person, not only to his family but so many wonderful friends.

He will be missed and remembered fondly by all.
