Moses Lake to host walkability workshop

MOSES LAKE — The city of Moses Lake will host a one-day workshop on Thursday, June 22, to discuss future possibilities for creating and improving walkability in Moses Lake, according to a city press release.

The workshop will last from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, will be joined by Ian Lockwood, a livable transportation engineer with Toole Design Group, which helps communities and local governments plan and design with cycling and walking in mind, and is held in partnership with the Washington State Department of Transportation, the press release said.
