Moses Lake student inducted into Phi Kappa Phi

BATON ROUGE, La. — Eastern Oregon University student and Moses Lake resident Simeon Hickman was recently inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest all-discipline college honor society, according to a society press release. Hickman is the second Basin student invited to Phi Kappa Phi this year, joining Coulee City native Ruth Bresee, who studies at About 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni are initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year, according to the release. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter, the release said, and only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are eligible for membership.
The society has chapters on more than 325 campuses in the United States, its territories and the Philippines, the release said.
