EPHRATA – If you’re looking for a larger, but not too large, home with four or more bedrooms and 2,000 to 3,000 square feet to live in, the Columbia Basin has options right now.

Ephrata: Grant County’s seat has about a dozen homes with four or more bedrooms and at least two bathrooms. Listed prices range from $290,000 to about $880,000. Some of the homes are just outside of city limits.

Ephrata-area homes, as listed on Realtor.com, have a variety of architectural styles from ranch-style homes to split-level homes and new-construction homes with open floor plans. One just outside of town even comes in a vibrant purple.

Moses Lake: Listing prices around Grant County’s largest city are a bit higher. Almost forty results for the same criteria show price tags of between about $340,000 to roughly $1.4 million.

Midcentury modern homes, the classic ranch style, new builds and waterfront properties are available. Craftsman homes aren’t prevalent but speaking with a real estate professional may open up some options for home shoppers.

Othello: The market in Othello is a bit tighter with less than a dozen listings on Realtor.com showing within or near city limits. Prices range from about $500,000 to about $890,000.

Home styles vary but new construction is available for shoppers looking for something that may have a warranty. New construction may also offer some customization to new home buyers.

Quincy: The Quincy housing market has just less than two dozen options that meet the criteria we’re looking at in this article. Prices range from about $462,000 to about $2 million for finished homes. Two additional listings come in at $2.85 million and $4.05 million, respectively, for unfinished homes that are currently under construction.

Ritzville: Only a few homes in Ritzville or nearby meet the criteria we’re looking at in this article. The least expensive is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with about 2,200 square feet and a list price of $275,000 on a 5,000-square-foot lot.

A four-bedroom, two-bathroom, craftsman-style home is available with a list price of $286,000, and one other home within city limits is fairly new with a list price of just more than $524,000.
