James Edward Stovall, 66, of Anchor Point, Alaska, passed away June 5, 2023.
James was born Aug. 8, 1956, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Charles and Carol (Doty) Stovall.
He was a graduate of Post Falls High School before becoming a U.S. Army medic, where he proudly served. James moved to Alaska in 1980, where he settled in Anchor Point. For most of his life, he worked in property maintenance with the Best Western Badarka Inn in Homer, Alaska. James passed away after living a full life and spending his last years with his family and dogs. He enjoyed many camping trips and gatherings with his wife, son, daughter and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Doty, and father Charles Stovall.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Stovall, of Anchor Point, son William Stovall of Homer, daughter Kristin Brittingham of Anchor Point, sister Diane Stovall of Happy Valley, Alaska, brothers Chuck Stovall of Happy Valley, and Dan Stovall of Post Falls, Idaho, grandsons Mark McGregor, Austin McGregor and Ian Stovall of Homer, granddaughters Sonja Deskis of Columbus, Ga., and Madison Brittingham of Anchor Point.
