Moses Lake student offered prestigious scholarship

OLD WESTBURY, New York — A Moses Lake student has been awarded a prestigious scholarship at the New York Institute of Technology, according to an announcement from the school.

Krithika Suresh from Moses Lake has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship at New York Institute of Technology, according to the announcement. This is the university's highest scholarship awarded to incoming first-year students. A student must have a 4.0 grade point average to qualify, according to the NYIT website.

New York Institute or Technology is a nonprofit, independent, private and nonsectarian institute of higher education founded in 1955, with campuses in New York City and Long Island, New York; Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Vancouver, British Columbia, according to the announcement.
