Haley Loffer

College of Idaho softball

Loffer, a graduate student shortstop from Lake City High, was named Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced. Loffer hit .455 in four games with all five of her hits being for extra bases on her way to a .600 on-base percentage and a 1.636 slugging percentage. She hit four home runs including a pair in the nightcap on Friday. Her first home run of the series made her the all-time leader in program history with 25. Loffer also managed to steal three bases and record eight RBI.

Bayley Brennan

Eastern Oregon basketball

Brennan, a 5-foot-7 junior guard from Post Falls High, was named Cascade Collegiate Conference Newcomer of the Year, averaging 10.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. She is shooting 43.3% from the 3-point line. "Bayley has quite literally made a splash in the conference," Eastern Oregon coach Anji Weissenfluh said. "She can change a game really quickly and when she gets hot, there is no stopping her."

Micah Sharples

College of Idaho swimming

Sharples, a junior from Post Falls, was named to the 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the school announced. Sharples was also named to the NAIA Women's Swim and Dive Scholar-Athlete team.
