Applications being accepted for Quincy Police Officer Association scholarship

QUINCY — Applications are due Mar. 30 for a scholarship to be awarded by the Quincy Police Officers Association to a graduating senior enrolled in the Quincy School District.

Students must have a 2.75 grade point average or better to qualify for the $1,000 scholarship, according to a QPOA release. Applicants must answer questions about their proposed field of study, how they plan to pay for their education and who inspired them to go to college. The application also includes essay questions.

The applications are available on the department website, www.quincypd.org.
