Carter Gordon

Lewis-Clark track and field

Gordon, a sophomore from Lake City High, was fourth in the 600-meter run at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Brookings, S.D., on Saturday.

Gordon qualified for the finals by setting a school record in 1 minute, 19.26 seconds, then broke it in the finals in 1:19.05. Gordon was also named an All-American after finishing in the top eight in the event.

Bayley Brennan

Eastern Oregon basketball

Brennan, a 5-foot-7 junior guard from Post Falls High, had 12 points and three rebounds for the Mountaineers, who fell to Dakota State in the second round of the NAIA Championship on Wednesday in Wichita, Kan. Eastern Oregon finished 30-3.

Brennan started 32 of 33 games, averaging 10.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.

Sara Muehlhausen

Lewis-Clark State basketball

Muehlhausen, a 6-foot-3 senior post from Lake City High, had five rebounds for the Warriors (30-3) in a 67-50 win over Rocky Mountain in the second round of the NAIA Championships in Lewiston on Wednesday.

Muehlhausen has started all 33 games for the Warriors, averaging 7.5 points and 6-4 rebounds per game.

Lewis-Clark State advances to the Round of 16, where it will face Clarke University on Monday in Sioux Falls, Iowa.
