Paul was born on Oct. 26, 1944, in Pittsburgh and died from the effects of a stroke at Wellspring Meadows in Hayden, Idaho, on March 2, 2023. Paul is survived by his wife, Susan, of 50 plus years, daughter Amanda, son Paul and his wife, Marie, and children Donald and Lillian.

Paul was a mechanical engineer who, most recently, worked on the North Slope in Alaska. Earlier, he was initial in starting two businesses, one still in existence near Pittsburgh. Retiring to Coeur d'Alene nearly 28 years ago, he became involved with his first love — motorcycles. Multiple sclerosis didn't deter him from riding as he adapted his motorcycles to keep going.

A memorial service will be held at Yates Funeral Home Cd'A on Friday, March 24 at 3 p.m.
