Steve Jacob Gabrielsen, husband, father, brother, son and friend, born July 27, 1992, died in Fairbanks, Alaska on Monday, February 27, 2023.

Services held: At 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at First Baptist Church 609 E Fifth Ave., North Pole, Alaska.

At 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at Lake City Church 6000 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Steve is survived by his wife Tracy, daughter Alexis, son Thorin, four siblings: CarolAnn, Matthew, Nathan and Melanie, his parents, David and Kim, and several grandparents. He was preceded by his grandfather Stieg Wiig Gabrielsen, and his grandmother Starla Rae McCallum.

Born in Missoula, Mont., raised in St. Maries and Rose Lake, Idaho, United States Army, Bravo Company 2d Battalion 19th Infantry Regiment, “Brave and Bold,” graduated with a BS degree in Mining Engineering, University of Alaska, Fairbanks, Alaska National Guard, 297 Infantry Battalion Company B Rifle Comp.

Some things Steve loved were spending time with family, outdoor activities, adventures, campfires, video games and playing in the dirt!
