SOAP LAKE – Mihail Kivachitsky will be holding a spring reception and art talk at the end of this month featuring new work created for the Soap Lake gallery.

“Maybe the monumental expanses of the majestic cliffs inspired me, maybe the magical water of Soap Lake, from which I didn’t want to leave in the summer,” said Kivachitsky. “And now, at the end of March, we are opening a new exposition with new sculptural works created especially for the Soap Lake gallery.”

The art features recognizable images of Rembrandt and symbolic astronomical allegories, Kivachitsky said.

The show will be held March 25 to 26 from 1 to 6 p.m. The gallery is located at 12 N. Division Street in Soap Lake.
