I have deep North Idaho roots and graduated from Eastern Washington University with an English degree with a creative writing emphasis with a minor in film. I worked at at the Bonner County Daily Bee before coming to work at the Bonners Ferry Herald in August 2021. OROFINO — Badger baseball traveled south March 10-11 to face the Orofino Maniacs and the Weiser Wolverines.
The Badgers fell to the Maniacs 4-2. Orofino scored a run in the first inning and three runs in the third. The Badges scored a run in the third and fifth inning.

The Badgers defeated the Weiser Wolverines 5-4. Bonners Ferry took the lead in the first inning and were up with two runs. By the fourth, the game was tied 2-2. There was a breakout in the sixth with the Badgers scoring three runs and the Wolverines earning 2.
