Lois R. Dick (wife, mother, MomMom, friend), 82, of Athol, Idaho, (formally from Cardiff, N.J.) died peacefully Monday, March 13, 2023.

Lois was born and raised in Linwood, N.J. She was a homemaker and the Best Cook and Baker. She was well known for her homemade pies and mac 'n' cheese. She loved her family and church. Christmas was her favorite time of year.

She used to sing “Rocky Mountain High” at the top of her lungs while driving around in her brand new black Chevy Camaro, before she moved across the country from New Jersey to Idaho. She and Ronnie built a beautiful log cabin on the hill. Lois was active at the Athol Baptist Church for many years. And very instrumental in the building of the church and the Hospitality Department. Her home was used as a fellowship for church meetings, covered dishes and many prayer meetings and guests.

Lois was involved in The Red Hats Club, The Don’t Dine Alone Club and The Rambling Rovers. She loved shopping and decorating her home.

Lois was a mom of three to: Sherry McGinnis (Mark) of New Jersey; Johnny Austin of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and Dana Sugden (Scott) of Spirit Lake, Idaho; nine grandchildren: Brian, Matthew, Karen, Daniel Wilson, Jennifer Kuntz, Bruce, Janice and Jacob Carber, and Charlotte Bochenek; her brother, Jim Camp (Janet) of Virginia; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by the love of her life, John (Ronnie) Dick, who also was her favorite Santa. She used to say that her last and final stop, in the world we call life, will be with Jesus. She is Home at Last.

Services will be held for Lois at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Athol Baptist Church, 29145 N. Sylvan Lane, Athol, ID 83801. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, 5579 W. Vermont, Spirit Lake, ID 83869 at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
