Linda Faye Creamer, 74, of Silver City, N.M., passed away peacefully on Dec. 6, 2022, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, after a brief battle with cancer.

Linda was born on April 23, 1948, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to parents Elanor (Puckett) and Burnett Smith. She attended Evergreen College and worked for many years as a mechanic at Boeing in Seattle, Wash., where she met her husband James (Jim) Creamer.

After retirement, they moved to Silver City, N.M., where they enjoyed motorcycle rides and traveling until he passed in 2020. Linda was an avid reader appreciating all genres, loved to dress up for any occasion and enjoyed discussing as well as debating politics. Linda was an animal lover who adored spending time with her cats and dogs. She relished in the beauty of nature taking a special interest in butterflies and had a beautiful collection of glass butterflies she displayed with pride. Linda spent time donating to and volunteering for the Republican Party, and animal shelter, and was a generous neighbor and friend.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jim. She is survived by her two children, Andrea (Jerry) Nash, Sandpoint, Idaho, and Jess (Lora) Harbison, Bowie, Maryland; five grandchildren, Jesse (Sabrina) Rakowski-Nash, Glenwood Springs, Colorado; Scout Nash, Roseburg, Oregon; Canyon Nash, Sandpoint, Idaho; Sara Harbison and Maya Harbison, Bowie, Maryland; her mother Elanor McLester; siblings Jeff (Jill) Smith, Jeanna (Craig) Hofmeister, Kellie McLester-Anderson, Doug McLester; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Linda requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Linda’s loved ones join us in celebrating her beautiful life at The Estate at Elk Point, 4176 E. Potlatch Hill Road, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 12 p.m. Following the celebration of life, Linda’s son and daughter will have a private ceremony to scatter her ashes at the San Juan Islands in Washington, a spot that was meaningful to Linda.
