SCHOOL LEVIES: Will vote no unless something changes
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 3 years, 5 months AGO
Mr. Koch, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. The “slime” of the KCD’s apparently don’t see the irony of your opinion piece being exactly what you accuse the KCRCC of, a political ruse to sway voters your way. I am what your side of the aisle hate the most. White, conservative, heterosexual, male who hates no one. I read your opinion pieces with same amusement I do Brent’s. You are both guilty of the same maneuvering and prose to gain your objectives.
When ignite cda is forced to stop skimming millions of taxpayer dollars from homeowner taxes and put those where they belong and the school district dumps a good share of its top heavy cost, then maybe we overtaxed citizens can consider giving another levy a yes vote. But for now my vote is NO. I have to maintain a budget so my city and county can steal as much of my hard-earned money as they can. Now it’s their turn to do the same. I am, by the way, a lifelong, second-generation native of Coeur d’Alene and have been funding many things I am opposed to without due representation ie: ignite cda. Government at any level in this country simply cannot ever steal enough or spend enough to satiate themselves. Time to start learning to live within their means.
