Day and Evening Shift

A deputy contacted a male subject and learned he was a registered sex offender. It was learned the male was out of compliance and was arrested for the violation.

A deputy arrested a wanted male for his misdemeanor warrant while at DMV.

Deputies and detectives responded to a business in Hayden to contact a male who was a suspect in some sex offense charges. The male was contacted and arrested on the warrant for the charges.

Deputies responded to an unattended death call. It appears the incident was related to a medical issue.

Several deputies, ISP and medical responded to a motorcycle v. vehicle accident on Prairie Avenue and Mineral Drive. The operator of the motorcycle was pronounce deceased at the scene. The roadway was closed for several hours to investigate the incident. This is an ongoing investigation, so any potential charges are unknown at this time.

Deputies responded to Hayden Super 1 Foods for a shoplifter. The suspect was contacted, and it was learned she was on probation for both felony and misdemeanor charges. She was charged for the theft offense.

Night Shift

A deputy made a traffic stop in the Maverick parking lot near Stateline. During the stop, a K-9 alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both occupants were arrested for the drug offense. At the jail, more drugs were found on the female. She was given more charges for introducing drugs into the jail and trafficking methamphetamine.

Deputies observed a suspicious vehicle near Cherry Hill Park. The vehicle was stopped, and the driver showed obvious signs of impairment. The driver was arrested for DUI, second offense. There were also three children in the vehicle, so he was charged with three counts of injury to child.
