Moses Lake man dies in Wednesday night collision

MOSES LAKE – A Moses Lake man was killed Wednesday night in a single-vehicle collision near Moses Lake, according to a statement from the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Haans Koller, 52, was driving without a seat belt at high speed on Westshore Drive Northeast when he lost control of his car just south of Road 4, according to the GCSO. Koller first struck a concrete road lane divider and then a tree. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he died at the scene, the statement said.
Koller’s next of kin was notified and Coroner Craig Morrison’s staff will conduct an autopsy, the statement said.
The collision was reported just after 10 p.m., according to the GCSO, and Westshore Drive was reopened at 1 a.m.
