KELLOGG — Bonners Ferry Badger Avery Bayer won her second consecutive golf tournament with a 73, at the Kellogg Invite at Galena Ridge Golf Course on April 27.
Braylyn Bayer took second place just two strokes behind her sister, Avery. The Badgers girls didn’t place due to not having enough golfers for a full team and instead competed individually.
“The boys continue to improve overall as a team and the scores prove it,” Bonners Ferry head coach Ralph Lotspeich said. “All of their short game practice is starting to pay off.”
Leading the Badger boys was Evan Reitz at 86, followed by Eli Blackmore at 87.
Overall both Kellogg teams took first. The Badgers will compete at Timberlake on Wednesday.
