Longtime Othello softball coach Rudy Ochoa was honored last week at the Huskies’ final regular season home game of the 2023 season. Ochoa is retiring at the end of this season after a 27-year career.

Othello won both games of the doubleheader leading up to the ceremony honoring longtime Head Coach Rudy Ochoa, defeating Grandview with scores of 15-0 in both games.

Dozens of Huskie alumni gathered for photos with their head coach on Friday night, wearing shirts saying “Farewell Coach Rudy” and “Ochoa Dynasty 1996-2023.”
