BONNERS FERRY — Sergeant Bobby Goad recently retired from the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office after 25 years of service, ending a 35-year career.

“Having a 35-year law enforcement career is a remarkable achievement,” BCSO Sheriff Dave Kramer said.

Goad was in law enforcement for 10 years prior to moving to Boundary County and working for the BCSO for the last 25 years serving as sergeant.

“There have been a lot of changes to law enforcement over the last 25 years and Bobby Goad was always a constant at the sheriff’s office that would help the office adjust to the new challenges that officers face. We greatly appreciate the loyalty and commitment to the job and the service to Boundary County for the last 25 years. His retirement is well deserved,” Kramer said.

Goad is enjoying his retirement and his time fishing.
