College of Idaho softball
Loffer, a graduate student from Lake City High, was named Cascade Conference Player of the Year as the conference announced its postseason honors. Loffer entered last week's conference tournament hitting .414 with an .827 slugging percentage, second in the conference. She led the league in walks (39), runs scored (70) and on-base percentage (.568) and was second in home runs (11), stolen bases (35) and infield assists (95). She is the third player in program history to earn Player of the Year honors.
