The Royal Knights, who earned the No. 2 seed in the 2023 1A State Softball Tournament, begin their tournament run on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Columbia Playfields in Richland.

Wildcats athletics reveals 2026 Hall of Fame inductees
ELLENSBURG — On Monday, Central Washington athletics announced in a statement the names for the 2026 athletic Hall of Fame class. Jean and Joe Adams (Spirit of Central), Catie Fry (Volleyball), Zak Hill (Football), and Dr. Richard Roux (Meritorious Service).
Van Dyke signs contract extension through 2030

VERMILLION, S. Dakota — The fourth quarter is where the excitement is for Eastern Washington women's basketball as they complete another comeback. Eastern defeated South Dakota 67-63 on Saturday afternoon to go 2-0 in the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. The Eagles improve to 5-4 on the season, while USD falls to 8-2.
