Munyer, a sophomore, won the state 4A championship in the triple jumpjumping 37 feet, 3 3/4 inches on May 19 at Mountain View High in Meridian. "Ziya set out this season with a few goals that she's worked hard to achieve," Lakeland coach Sarah Nave said. "She has a great drive and thrives when the pressure is on the line, and that's what we saw down at state. Ziya had a great season and I'm excited to see what she continues to do over the next couple of years."
