I am supporting Deb Ruehle, Elle Susnis and Amelia Boyd for city council. Unlike previous years, we have six capable and reasonable choices for three spots, which is refreshing.

I am supporting Deb Ruehle because during the debates, she was most knowledgeable, responded to questions with real answers and I trust her judgment.  

I've worked with Elle during my time on Urban Renewal. Her experience with the arts council and historic preservation are needed during this time of change and development. We need our city to retain its culture, but we can't just stick our heads in the sand. Elle has the vision and experience to be a great on council.

I didn't know Amelia Boyd before this election, but after talking with her and listening to her responses in the forum, I trust she is in this for the right reasons, has a history of putting in the work and she struck me as a reasonable and pragmatic person.
