John “Jack” E. McNamara, 90, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, died Oct. 25, 2023.
Jack was born to Myrtle Jacobson and Jack McNamara on Dec. 7, 1932, in Drake, N.D.
He worked at Bunker Hill until it closed. Then he went to work for the Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Wash., until he retired. He was a longtime member of the Eagles.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Meader; sons Jeff and Ken; sisters Beverly and her husband, Gene Scheuller, of Minnesota; Audrey Volmer, Avis Axtman, Janice Meyer and her husband, Dave, of Fargo, N.D.; brothers Larry, Dean and his wife, Connie, of Fargo, N.D.; James from Minneapolis, Minn.; and Darrell and his wife, Norma, of Overland Park, Kan.
He is preceded in death by his son, Douglas; and his wife, Lola.
