Glacier High School speech and debate took first place at the Kalispell Kickoff tournament with 224.5 overall points.
“I am excited that our team started the season with a big, convincing win. We lost to graduation, an exceptional group from the class of 2023, but I am encouraged by the determination of this year’s team to be competitive. We can rally around a great start as we aim to reload rather than rebuild,” GHS head speech and debate coach Greg Adkins said.

Out of all divisions, Class A team Columbia Falls ranked third overall with 119 overall points. Columbia Falls placed first in the Class A, B and C division.
