Dean, a senior libero from Timberlake High, had 12 digs for the Warriors in a 25-10, 25-17, 21-25, 25-16 loss to Northwest University in the Cascade Conference Tournament on Tuesday in Kirkland, Wash., finishing the season 10-18. Dean finished with 1,659 career digs, which is second all-time in school history. "Kenzie Dean is an incredible player that stepped up big tonight in every area of her game, especially in the serve-receive line," Lewis-Clark State coach Katie Palmer said. "All season long she has embraced always finding ways to improve and we were able to see that in the third set when she was the catalyst to take one off a tough Northwest team. She's left her mark on the record book and the hearts of all Warriors."
Skylar Burke
UC Santa Barbara basketball
Burke, a 5-foot-8 sophomore guard from Coeur d'Alene High, had 12 points and eight rebounds for the Gauchos in an 87-75 win over visiting San Francisco in the season opener for both programs on Monday in Isla Vista, Calif. Burke also had one block and one steal in the game, her first collegiate start.
Janae Rayborn
College of Idaho volleyball
Rayborn, a senior outside hitter from Lake City High and North Idaho College, had 14 kills and 14 digs for the Yotes (18-12) in a 21-25, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16, 15-11 win over Lewis-Clark State on Saturday in Lewiston.
Delaney Moczan
Carroll soccer
Moczan, a freshman forward from Lake City High, was named the Cascade Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Moczan closed out the season with two goals and an assist in a 7-0 win over the University of Providence on Oct. 30 in Great Falls, Mont. Carroll finished the season 11-2-4. Moczan started all 17 games, finishing with six goals and two assists for the Saints.
