Two-vehicle accident on U.S. 2

A 2-vehicle accident on U.S. 2 at the Hammer Cutoff Road Thursday evening east of Libby resulted in an injury, according to Montana Highway Patrol.
MHP's incident log indicated the accident that occurred shortly before 5 p.m. involved an injury.
Lincoln County first responders included Libby Volunteer Ambulance, Sheriff's Office and Rural Fire District 1.
The accident involved a burgundy Ford F150 pickup truck and a blue GMC Sierra pickup truck.
An eyewitness at the scene said the Ford truck struck the GMC.
